Kawdiir was born from a desire to find authentic flavors and

natural features of yesteryear, imbued with nostalgia. Our products are homemade, using

traditional mixing and processing techniques, without flavor enhancers,

chemical preservatives or colorings. The name Kawdiir, typically Senegalese, makes

reference to the African cauldron, ancestor of the modern pot, illustrating the adage well

known: “it’s the old pots that make the good sauces”. First shared in a

restricted circle of family and friends, Kawdiir evolved towards a broader sharing for the

happiness of all.
